Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Highton.
Harry Highton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Highton misses with a kick to the body.
Highton does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Highton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Highton thuds a left hand into Redman's body.
Highton lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Highton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A head kick from Highton lands but Redman takes it in his stride.

It looks like Tommy Redman has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Redman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Highton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Highton wants to clinch.
Highton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Highton moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Highton tries to close the distance and clinch but Redman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Highton scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Highton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Redman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Redman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Highton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Redman trying to control the position from guard on top but Highton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Redman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Redman drops back looking for a leg! Highton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Highton manages to kick Redman off! Redman jumps back into Highton's guard.

Redman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Redman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Redman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Highton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Redman!

Highton stands up from mount. Strange move.
Highton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Redman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Redman walks into a left hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Redman tries to keep at a distance but Highton has taken the fight into the clinch.

Highton gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Redman keeping moving, preventing Highton from controlling successfully.

Highton gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Highton misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Highton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Highton looks gassed!
Highton looking to sit in guard and control but Redman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Highton dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tommy Redman's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Highton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Highton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Redman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Highton holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Redman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Highton walks away with a smile on his face. Redman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Highton tries for a takedown but Redman circles away easily

and Redman counters with a single leg into guard. Highton didn't expect that.

Redman pushes down on Highton's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Highton is defending against the submission attempts here by Redman.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Redman trying to mount his opponent but Highton defends it.

Redman maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Highton could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Redman has cracked it and Highton is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Redman!
