The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCool keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McCool.
McCool tries for a takedown but Kerns sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kerns lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
McCool shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kerns as he jumps to the side.
Jack Kerns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome McCool.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kerns.
McCool looks gassed!
Kerns lands a high kick!
It looks like Jerome McCool has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kerns stuns McCool with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kerns lands a big head kick that sends McCool tumbling to the mat! Kerns takes a step backwards and waves McCool back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kerns dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kerns lands a slapping body shot.
Crunch! Kerns slams his shin into McCool's torso.
Kerns connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt McCool! He's out on his feet! Kerns rushes in and drops McCool with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Kerns!
