The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flint takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Compton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Flint looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
No luck for Flint with that takedown attempt.
Flint tries to clinch there but Compton circles away.
Compton pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Flint tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Compton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Flint shoots for a takedown but Compton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Compton looks to land a combination but Flint avoids it well.
Flint fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Flint. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Compton throws a sloppy head kick and Flint moves out of range easily.
Compton connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Compton throws a half hearted mid kick.
Flint tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Compton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Flint closes the distance and clinches up with Compton, looking for a takedown. Flint pushes Compton against the cage but Compton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Flint gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Compton counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Flint is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Compton misses with a kick to the body.

Compton lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Flint crumples to the floor! Compton milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
