PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Draco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greek Rabio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabio has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Greek Rabio will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Draco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greek Rabio!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draco pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rabio looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rabio chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Draco can pounce on him.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Draco, right into the meat.
Draco lands a head kick. Rabio smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Greek Rabio has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Draco lands a left and a right that send Rabio crashing to the mat, dazed. Draco thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Draco drops Rabio with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rabio looks back up at him and smiles so Draco waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rabio is rocked!
Draco lands with a kick to the ribs.
Rabio takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rabio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Draco misses with a wild combination.
Draco scores with a nice right hand.
Draco throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rabio on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Draco connects with a nice cross there... Rabio is looking wobbly and Draco recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Rabio to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Draco jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
