The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
von Carelstein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Simeone was well out of range. Poor timing from von Carelstein.
von Carelstein misses with a body shot.
von Carelstein throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Simeone moves in looking to clinch but von Carelstein pushes him off.
von Carelstein thows a body shot but no joy.
Simeone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by von Carelstein.

Simeone drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
von Carelstein looks to land a right hand but Simeone moved out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simeone drives through and clinches with von Carelstein against the cage.
