Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Funku Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Notorious BIG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Notorious BIG has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Funku Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Notorious BIG!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BIG plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Gracie misses with a head kick.

BIG shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gracie is trying to defend but BIG finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
BIG blocks the strikes from Gracie.
Gracie tries to roll over but BIG keeps him under control.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
BIG throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BIG working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. BIG is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gracie misses with the combination.

BIG drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie dodges the ground and pound from BIG.

Gracie manages to get back to half guard.
Gracie is trying to get back to full guard.
BIG seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

BIG is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
BIG scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of BIG's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take BIG's back!
Gracie tries to get the hooks in deep but BIG pushed the leg off.

BIG is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

BIG rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
BIG is looking to improve his position.
BIG moves into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

BIG has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

BIG escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie has hold of BIG's arm. He's looking for a kimura. BIG seems comfortable defending it but Gracie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! BIG is real pain and he's forced to tap out! BIG is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
