The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izmirkofte displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Okita.

Okita is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Izmirkofte is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mikio Okita will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Okita throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Izmirkofte was covering up waiting for the punch and Okita finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Okita drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Okita jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Izmirkofte is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Okita, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
