Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hollis Damon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and corey Harry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Damon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Damon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Damon really is a fat lump.
Damon wants to stand but Harry has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Damon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Damon lands in his opponent's guard.

Damon throws and elbow that misses. Harry uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Damon's guard. Nice move by Harry!
Harry wants to control from the top but Damon keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Damon shoots in for a takedown but Harry shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Damon connects with a nice short shot to Harry's temple.
Damon is trying to control the action in half guard but Harry is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Harry is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Damon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Harry looks a forlorn figure.

Damon lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Harry wants to get back to his feet.
Harry is bucking up trying to escape but Damon cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry pushes Damon off, looking to escape but Damon dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Harry is forced to tap! The fight is over!
