Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Ballantine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Boswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jimmy Ballantine has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jimmy Ballantine seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballantine fails to land with a series of punches.
Boswell is looking to clinch but Ballantine is avoiding it.

Boswell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ballantine to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Boswell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Boswell throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Ballantine slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ballantine wanted to stand there but Boswell had control of the position.

Boswell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Boswell is trying to drag Ballantine to the mat but Ballantine just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Boswell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boswell tries to close the distance and clinch but Ballantine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Boswell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
