Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johan den Hollander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johan den Hollander had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Amir Dunham is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dunham jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as den Hollander walks away with a smile on his face. Dunham gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Dunham shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has den Hollander pinned against the cage. den Hollander gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Dunham tries for a takedown but den Hollander sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
den Hollander connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Dunham shoots for a double leg takedown but den Hollander sprawls well. He's pushed Dunham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

den Hollander stalks Dunham and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dunham's face. Dunham staggers backwards, shaken.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dunham is defended easily by den Hollander.
Dunham shoots for a double leg takedown but den Hollander sprawls well. He's pushed Dunham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dunham seems to have recovered his senses.

Dunham changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. den Hollander tries to avoid it but Dunham manages to keep hold of a leg and drag den Hollander to the ground. den Hollander escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
