Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Convents (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Raty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robin Convents!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Convents tries to clinch there but Raty circles away.
Raty tries to clinch but Convents moves out of range.
Convents takes the fight into the clinch.
Raty tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Convents smiles and moves away.
Raty wants to clinch up but Convents keeps it at a distance.
Convents is looking to clinch but Raty is avoiding it.
Convents throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Raty was covering up waiting for the punch and Convents finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Raty has his foot on Convents's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Convents works his way back into a safe position though.
Convents thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Raty has a closed guard, preventing Convents from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Raty wants to get back to his feet.

Raty is looking to get back to is feet but Convents passes into side control.
Convents has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Convents jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Raty manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Convents is working Raty over with some ground and pound from side control.

Convents wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Raty, who protects the arm well.

Convents advances nicely into full mount.
Raty looks gassed!
Convents has control of Raty's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Raty regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Convents is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Raty is surviving well by controlling Convents's body position as best he can.
Raty tries to hold on but Convents postures up.

Convents throws a wild left hand from mount and Raty manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raty is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Convents looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Raty with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Convents wants to control but Raty is keeping him busy.

Convents drops an elbow to the side of Raty's head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Convents looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Raty is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Convents winds up and cracks Raty with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Convents stands up from half guard.
Convents scores with a body shot.
Convents gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Convents breaks from the clinch.

Convents drags the fight down to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robin Convents dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Convents shoots in for a takedown but Raty shows good takedown defense.
Convents shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Raty's guard.

Raty utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Raty is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Convents works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Convents is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Raty is looking to control Convents's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Raty avoid being mounted?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Convents is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Raty defends it well.
Raty is not content to let Convents control the position.

Raty scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Convents manages to mount him!
Raty tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Raty looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Convents! Submission of the night perhaps?
