Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Breir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daley has chosen I can't Dance-Phil Collins as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Breir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trevor Daley! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daley closes the distance and pushes Breir back into the cage. Daley tries for a takedown. No joy.
Breir manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Daley misses with a punch on the inside.

Breir is trying to maintain a safe position but Daley gets an underhook and turns Breir into the cage. A short body shot lands from Breir as the two fighters clinch.
Breir blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Breir letting Daley take a breather here. Daley has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Daley has clasped his hands together around Breir's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Daley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. An elbow from Daley crashes against the mat.
Breir pushes Daley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Daley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Daley has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Breir shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daley pinned against the cage. Daley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breir shoots in but Daley avoids the takedown attempt easily. Breir shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daley defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Breir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Breir fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Breir will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice sprawl there from Daley as Breir shoots in. Daley drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Daley wants to control but Breir is keeping him busy.

He has the arm isolated but Breir is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Daley decides to stand back up. Daley steps back and let's Breir get back to his feet. Daley looks gassed! Breir scores with a takedown into Daley's guard. Breir has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Daley pushes Breir off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Daley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Daley showed some decent athleticism there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breir wants to get back to his feet. Daley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Breir is trying to stand.
Daley is keen to just control but Breir is a slippery customer. Daley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Daley wants to stand but Breir has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Breir is trying to stand up here but Daley is controlling him well. Daley wants to take a breather but Breir is having none of it. Breir really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Breir fails with the takedown and Daley counters with a nice double leg into side control. Breir won't be happy with that. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daley is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Breir has escaped the position, nice work there. Daley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trevor Daley dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Breir doesn't succeed with the takedown and Daley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Daley. Breir keeping full guard, as Daley tries to pass. Daley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Daley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Breir dives on top into guard. Daley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Daley is breathing heavily. Daley trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Daley has a closed guard, preventing Breir from standing up. Breir stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Breir misses with a takedown and Daley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Daley stands and steps away. Breir gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Breir shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Daley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Breir's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Breir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daley working some strikes from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daley gets to his feet. Breir looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Breir shoots and misses and Daley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Breir's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Breir is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Daley is controlling him. Breir is working an open guard so Daley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Breir doesn't succeed with the takedown and Daley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Breir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daley on the ground. Daley prevents Breir from getting back to his feet. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Breir blocks a punch to the side of the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Breir wants to stand but Daley is controlling the position.
