Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dot Cotton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cotton might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thunderstruck. Peter Parker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dot Cotton's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cotton scores with a takedown into Parker's guard.
Parker controlling the position.
Cotton advances to half guard.

Parker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cotton pulls his head out easily.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Parker tries to roll over but Cotton keeps him under control.
Cotton stalling.
Cotton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Parker is looking to control Cotton's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Parker avoid being mounted?

Cotton seems to be looking for submissions.

Parker trying to hold on to Cotton's head to control him but Cotton postures up.
Cotton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Parker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Parker is trying to get back to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A head kick misses from Cotton.
Parker thows a body shot but no joy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Parker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Parker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cotton misses with a takedown attempt - Parker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Cotton drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cotton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Parker defends it well.

Cotton tries for a takedown but Parker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oh Cotton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Parker leaves Cotton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Parker moves into the clinch.

Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cotton seems to have got his legs back now.
Parker chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch but Cotton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Parker is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Parker misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cotton.

Parker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parker circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Cotton tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Parker wins by KO!
