The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dantes tries to clinch there but Novikov circles away.
Novikov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Novikov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dantes.
Dantes looks for a takedown but Novikov sprawls well.
Novikov tries to land a leg kick but Dantes saw it coming and moves away.
Novikov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dantes is breathing heavily.
Dantes tries to move into range but Novikov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dantes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Novikov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A combination from Novikov does no damage.
Dantes is looking to clinch.
Novikov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Novikov throws a right hand that Dantes ducks under and follows up with a left that Dantes also avoids with ease.
Novikov scores with a leg kick.
Novikov lands a body shot.
Novikov punishes Dantes's body with a nice straight punch.
Novikov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dantes. That did some damage!
Novikov misses with a wild body shot.
Dantes shoots in but no luck this time.
Edmond Dantes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Novikov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Novikov connects with a looping right hand.
Novikov lands with a nice body kick.

Novikov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dantes tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dantes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Novikov seems to be stalking Dantes here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Dantes drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
