Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hans De Vries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Pepper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Vries's entrance music is My Ding-A-Ling. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Vries just misses with a punch to the body.
De Vries ducks under a wild hook from Pepper.
De Vries cracks the inside of Pepper's front leg.
De Vries scores with a nice body kick.
Pepper swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pepper tries to bum rush De Vries with a series of wild strikes but De Vries uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pepper's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Pepper duly obliges.
Pepper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but De Vries swivels and escapes.
Pepper throws a lazy right hand but De Vries sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

A slapping leg kick lands for De Vries.
A head kick from De Vries lands but Pepper takes it in his stride.
Pepper misses with a two punch combination.
De Vries throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Floyd Pepper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pepper throws a series of punches but De Vries avoids them all with ease.

Pepper is trying desperately to land a takedown but De Vries is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Pepper.

De Vries lands with an uppercut that bounces Pepper off the cage and back into rage.
Both fighters circling a little - De Vries finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Pepper tries to keep at a distance but De Vries has taken the fight into the clinch.
De Vries wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pepper has him pressed against the cage.

De Vries throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

De Vries ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
De Vries thumps Pepper with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

De Vries moves into the clinch.
Pepper is working for takedown but De Vries is calmly controlling the position for now.
Pepper jumps guard but De Vries stands there with Pepper around his waist. Pepper gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

De Vries's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
De Vries throws a leg kick which misses Pepper's front leg but catches the back leg as Pepper tries to avoid it.
A nice inside leg kick there by De Vries. That's going to slow Pepper down.
De Vries connects with a high kick.
De Vries buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
De Vries misses with a few strikes there.
A slapping leg kick lands for De Vries.
Pepper throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pepper throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and De Vries counters with a slapping leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
De Vries is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pepper's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
De Vries fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
De Vries lands a nice hook to Pepper's body. Pepper takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Pepper gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, De Vries regains guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pepperis looking to pass into half guard but De Vries pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now De Vries is in guard.

De Vries is looking to stand up but Pepper won't let him.
De Vries slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Pepper pushes a forearm under De Vries's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, De Vries is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
