Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Peers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, King Bass! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bass misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Peers looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Peers fails with the takedown and Bass counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Peers's guard now. Peers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Peers keeping moving, preventing Bass from controlling successfully. Bass tries to free his leg and advance position but Peers is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bass is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bass passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bass has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bass closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Peers is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bass trying to control the position but Peers is working away. Bass tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bass is looking to take a break and control but Peers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peers can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bass is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Peers has escaped the position, nice work there. Bass has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Peers! Bass looking to isolate an arm here. Peers doesn't see it coming and as Bass extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Bass!
