Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Petey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cleveland Rocks kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Petey 's head.

Tanner throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Tanner shoots in and bounces Petey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Tanner looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Tanner catches Petey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tanner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Petey .

Tanner darts in and clinches Petey up against the cage.
Tanner prevents the takedown attempt.
A right hook to the body lands for Petey .
Petey 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Tanner makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Tanner has Petey pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tanner pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Petey tumbling to the mat - Tanner dives into Petey 's guard.
Tanner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
