Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasumia looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fujiwara tries to land a front kick but Kasumia steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kasumia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fujiwara tries to avoid it but Kasumia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fujiwara to the ground. Fujiwara escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kasumia tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fujiwara swivels and escapes.
Takumi Fujiwara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Osuka Kasumia.
Kasumia tries to close the distance and clinch but Fujiwara swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kasumia had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fujiwara is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kasumia Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fujiwara's back instead.
