Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Warren Faultless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sylvester Hoodoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoodoo clinches with his opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Faultless shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hoodoo sprawls well. Hoodoo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Faultless gets slowly back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hoodoo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hoodoo moves into the clinch successfully.

Faultless pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hoodoo stands and steps away. Faultless gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hoodoo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Faultless defends it nicely.

Hoodoo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Faultless was covering up waiting for the punch and Hoodoo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hoodoo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Faultless closes the distance and clinches up with Hoodoo, looking for a takedown. Faultless pushes Hoodoo against the cage but Hoodoo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hoodoo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Faultless feints and as Hoodoo raises his hands in defense, Faultless changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hoodoo can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hoodoo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Faultless controls the pace.

Faultless passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hoodoo is not content to let Faultless control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hoodoo is landing with some decent strikes but Faultless is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hoodoo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I think Hoodoo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
