Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunter Kicurasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kicurasz has chosen Ultimate Fighter - Theme Song as his entrance music. Maximus Alkofer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicurasz jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Kicurasz rushes Alkofer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kicurasz wants to get back to striking at distance but Alkofer won't allow it.
Kicurasz wants to break the clinch but can't.

Kicurasz gets control of Alkofer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kicurasz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Alkoferis looking to pass into half guard but Kicurasz pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kicurasz is in guard.
Kicurasz trying to control the position from guard on top but Alkofer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kicurasz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Alkofer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kicurasz has Alkofer in his guard.
Kicurasz wants to stand up but Alkofer is controlling him.
Kicurasz is trying to keep Alkofer in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kicurasz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Alkofer is pressing down on Kicurasz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kicurasz is holding on for now.

Alkofer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kicurasz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kicurasz can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kicurasz is trying to buck Alkofer off.
Kicurasz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Alkofer's best efforts.

Kicurasz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Alkofer is defending well. Kicurasz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Alkofer has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kicurasz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
