PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noriyuki Nayoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Factor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nayoui comes to the cage accompanied by nWo Theme. Max Factor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nayoui lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Max Factor has been cut.
Factor throws a shot from downtown. Nayoui moves away and avoids it.
Factor throws the kick towards the body but Nayoui avoids it.
Factor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nayoui slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nayoui moves out of range of the body kick from Factor.
Factor throws a quick inside leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Factor.
Factor doesn't manage to clinch there - Nayoui circles away.

Max Factor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nayoui scores with a one two! Factor had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Nayoui lands a really nice looking cross but Factor seems unphased.

The cut above Max Factor's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

enabling Nayoui to counter with a crisp jab.
Nayoui is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Factor darts in trying to clinch
and Factor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nayoui thuds a left hand into Factor's body.
Nayoui avoids the head kick by Factor.

Factor clinches up with Nayoui and pushes him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Factor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nayoui.

Nayoui swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Nayoui counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nayoui is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Factor takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Max Factor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Factor takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Max Factor's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
