Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Cash Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Saint George!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cash Jr looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
George missing with punches from the bottom.
Cash Jr is thwarting George's attempts to control the position.
George is not content to let Cash Jr control the position.
Cash Jr wants to free his trapped foot but George is holding on for dear life with his legs.
George is trying to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
George misses with a takedown attempt

and Cash Jr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Cash Jr is looking to work some ground and pound but George has wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
George keeping moving, preventing Cash Jr from controlling successfully.
George is trying to keep Cash Jr in close.
Cash Jr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

George might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cash Jr kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Cash Jr lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
George misses with a straight left.
George shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Cash Jr counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Cash Jr prevents George from improving his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

George is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
George is not content to let Cash Jr control the position.
George gets back to full guard.
Cash Jr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cash Jr distracts George with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Cash Jr lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
George throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

George looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cash Jr lands a couple of digs.
Cash Jr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as George works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cash Jr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cash Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and George has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cash Jr has managed to get both his arms back between George's legs - danger averted.
George looks gassed!
Cash Jr with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cash Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. George swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cash Jr missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
George controls Cash Jr momentarily but Cash Jr frees himself.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cash Jr throws a head kick but George moves out of range.

George gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cash Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but George is retaining full guard.
George bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cash Jr's guard.

George is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Cash Jr is looking for a triangle but George pushes his legs off easily.
Cash Jr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cash Jr wants to sweep but no luck.

Cash Jr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. George is aware though and is defending well.
George trying to control the position from guard on top but Cash Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
George slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
George forces his way into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson Cash Jr dominated that round.
That's time! Cash Jr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


George motions for Cash Jr to come forward. George throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
George lands a nice shot that snaps Cash Jr's head back.

George shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cash Jr's guard.
George is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Cash Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in George's guard.

George working for a triangle but Cash Jr defends it easily.
Jackson Cash Jr overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cash Jr throwing strikes but missing.

George is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Cash Jr rolls with it to try and escape but George cranks on the arm and Cash Jr is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Saint George!
