PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between that guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bekah Robson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robson moves into the clinch.
guy has Robson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Robson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Robson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Robson breaks from the clinch.
guy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Robson throws a head kick but guy moves out of range.
guy scores with a kick to the body.
Robson doesn't manage to clinch there - guy circles away.
guy leaves Robson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
guy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
guy avoids the head kick by Robson.
Robson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Robson wants to clinch.
guy keeps the fight on the outside.
guy looks to land a body kick but Robson moved away.
Robson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. guy tries to avoid it but Robson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag guy to the ground. guy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
that guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bekah Robson.
guy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Robson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten guy somewhat.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Robson gets caught flat footed, as guy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
guy passes easily into side control. Nice work.

guy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Robson looks calm but he's in trouble here. guy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Robson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! guy lets go of the hold and Robson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
