Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hodger Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christiano Bastos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bastos has chosen Young mooney ft.loyd-bed rock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bastos moves into the clinch.
Bastos is trying to force a seperation but Gracie has the dominant position.
Bastos has Gracie pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gracie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bastos looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bastos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bastos has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.

Bastos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bastos wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
Bastos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
