Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenjiro Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sassou ZuZu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tanaka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7awMJwjhc4c&feature=related. Sassou ZuZu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kenjiro Tanaka's chin.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ZuZu is looking to clinch.
ZuZu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tanaka moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Tanaka feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to ZuZu's calf.
ZuZu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tanaka paws at him with a jab and circles away.

ZuZu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Sassou ZuZu has been cut.
ZuZu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tanaka is looking to slow ZuZu down with leg kicks.

ZuZu tries to close the distance and clinch but Tanaka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A jab from Tanaka finds it's way through ZuZu's defenses.

ZuZu shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tanaka fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt ZuZu.

ZuZu needs to keep his hands up - Tanaka had a free shot at his head there.

The cut above Sassou ZuZu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tanaka, right into the meat.
ZuZu's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Sassou ZuZu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but ZuZu might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Tanaka has got the better of the exchanges.
