Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Roza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Flannagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannagan misses with an uppercut. Roza saw that one coming.
Roza lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Roza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Flannagan closes the distance and clinches up with Roza, looking for a takedown. Flannagan pushes Roza against the cage but Roza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Roza lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Roza.
Flannagan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Flannagan just misses with a punch to the body.
Roza scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Flannagan doesn't seem bothered though.
Roza lunges at Flannagan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Flannagan's hand.

Flannagan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Flannagan shoots in but Roza avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Roza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Flannagan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Justin Roza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Flannagan.

Roza looks to land a combination. Flannagan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
George Flannagan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Roza scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like George Flannagan has been cut.

Flannagan closes the distance and pushes Roza back into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Roza's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Roza tries to break the clinch but Flannagan is controlling the position.
Roza is pressed up against the cage. Flannagan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Roza down to the mat. Roza avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Flannagan looks gassed!
Roza goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roza lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Roza pivots, looking for a leg kick but Flannagan is out of range and Roza settles back down.
Roza throws a leg kick which misses Flannagan's front leg but catches the back leg as Flannagan tries to avoid it.
Flannagan tries to clinch but Roza is having none of it.
Flannagan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Roza feints and then cracks Flannagan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Flannagan down.

Roza lands a hook that stumbles Flannagan back into the cage. Roza follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Flannagan to the canvas! Roza pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Flannagan has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
