Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between LJ Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butter Sweet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweet just misses with a punch to the body.
Sweet works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Sweet lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jones checks a leg kick nicely.
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sweet with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Sweet lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sweet pinned against the cage. Sweet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jones gets a clinch.
Sweet wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sweet gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sweet looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jones pushes Sweet back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for LJ Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones pulls guard successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.
Sweet is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sweet swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Sweet is retaining full guard.

Sweet wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A combination from Sweet does no damage.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sweet as he jumps to the side.
Sweet misses with a two punch combination.
Sweet thows a body shot but no joy.
Sweet looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sweet wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones moves out of range of the strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sweet misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Sweet.
Sweet looks to land a combination. Jones sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sweet lands with a cross.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
Sweet displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Sweet takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Sweet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Sweet misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sweet throws and low kick but Jones moves out of range easily.
Sweet scores with a nice head shot.
Butter Sweet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sweet throws a one two combo.
Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like LJ Jones has been cut.
Butter Sweet seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jones seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Sweet shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Jones is backing up but Sweet catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Jones covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Sweet Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
