Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shin Ya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumina Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumina Sato is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sato shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
It looks like Sato is going to stand back up.

Sato is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ya is just riding it out for now. Sato eventually gives up the hold.
Sato tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ya knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sato seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
