Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Raven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell swings for the body but Raven moves out of range.
Raven drives through with a takedown into guard.

Raven drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Raven jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Raven has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Raven there as he acknowledges the shot.
Raven shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mitchell napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Raven has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mitchell is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Raven yanks on the arm and Mitchell is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Raven.
