The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tolkki in his tracks.
Tolkki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tolkki looks to land a right hand but Rua moved out of range.
Tolkki throws a nice inside leg kick.
Rua misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tolkki shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rua jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Teppo Tolkki has been cut.
Rua misses with a hook.
A slow jab from Rua misses its intended target.
Tolkki feints and then cracks Rua's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rua down.
Tolkki slips a jab from Rua.
Tolkki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rua. That did some damage!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tolkki lands a big head kick that sends Rua tumbling to the mat! Tolkki takes a step backwards and waves Rua back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rua is rocked!

It looks like Eduardo Rua has been cut.
Rua is breathing heavily.
Rua keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tolkki.
Oh Rua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tolkki scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Tolkki throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Rua is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
