Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cervoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Johnson misses.
Cervoni fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Johnson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Horrible takedown by Cervoni or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad.
Cervoni dips to his left and cracks Johnson with an uppercut!
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Cervoni shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Cervoni really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Cervoni counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Johnson!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cervoni pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cervoni. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Johnson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Cervoni has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee warns Johnson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Cervoni lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cervoni cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cervoni moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Johnson has worked his arm free - good work by Johnson!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cervoni has hold of Johnson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Johnson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cervoni cranks the arm and Johnson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Johnson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
