The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Killer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hughes.
Killer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hughes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hughes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Killer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Killer!

Hughes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Killer defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
