Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shuu Hitoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ramirez throws a hook but Hitoshi blocks it.
Ramirez throws a hook to the side of Hitoshi's head but Hitoshi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

No joy there for Ramirez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ramirez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hitoshi was well out of range. Poor timing from Ramirez.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramirez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ramirez thows a body shot but no joy.
Ramirez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hitoshi circles away quickly and effectively.
Ramirez takes a swing at Hitoshi's ribcage but misses.

Ramirez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ramirez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hitoshi moves out of range of the strikes.
Ramirez is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hitoshi rather than just go for the knockout.

Hitoshi has gone for a leg lock! Ramirez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hitoshi's guard.

Ramirez wants to get up but he can't break Hitoshi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ramirez throws a looping overhand right but Hitoshi ducks down to avoid it.

Hitoshi avoids the attempt from Ramirez to control.

Ramirez has left one of his arms exposed and Hitoshi doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ramirez screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
