Amaury Grizz has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
the warrior fails with a takedown attempt.

Grizz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in the warrior's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grizz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
the warrior changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grizz tries to avoid it but the warrior manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grizz to the ground. Grizz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Grizz is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Grizz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! the warrior is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Grizz, into his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
