Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zeke Acacia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acacia drives through with a takedown into guard.
Torres is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Torres is working an open guard so Acacia takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Torres has his takedown stuffed
and Acacia counters with a big head kick but Torres shrugs it off.
Torres closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Torres lands in his opponent's guard.
Torres passes Acacia's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Torres is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Acacia is just riding it out for now. Torres eventually gives up the hold.

Acacia connects with a solid leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Acacia. No joy for Torres on that attempt.
Torres gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Zeke Acacia overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Torres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Acacia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Acacia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Torres escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Acacia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zeke Acacia.
