The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damage doesn't manage to clinch there - Cane circles away.

Damage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fight stays on the outside here - Damage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cane throws a right hand that Damage ducks under and follows up with a left that Damage also avoids with ease.

No joy there for Damage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Louie Cane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Damage fails with a takedown attempt.
Serio Damage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cane scores with a sloppy right hand. Damage should have avoided that one.
Cane slaps away a takedown attempt from Damage, before circling back to the center of the mat.

enabling Cane to counter with a crisp jab.
Damage shoots in for a double leg but Cane sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Louie Cane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Serio Damage.

Cane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Damage is trying desperately to land a takedown but Cane is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cane throws a good cross that connects.
Cane dances in with a quick combination. Damage is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Cane snaps Damage's head back. Damage stumbles backwards against the cage. Cane steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Damage's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Damage just didn't come prepared.
