Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dameko Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lonnie Tolbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tolbert has Brewer up against the cage in a clinch.
Tolbert tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Brewer just stands there and leans against the cage.
Brewer is trying to break the clinch but Tolbert has him pressed against the cage.

Tolbert breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tolbert throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brewer.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Brewer. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Brewer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tolbert to score with a decent uppercut.

Tolbert uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brewer.
Brewer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brewer there as he acknowledges the shot.
Brewer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tolbert on the side of the head.
Tolbert looks to score with a jab to the body but Brewer is just out of range.
Tolbert bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A telegraphed right hand from Brewer misses the target.
Tolbert catches Brewer with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Brewer tries to move into range but Tolbert moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Tolbert scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Brewer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Tolbert walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Brewer throws a shot from downtown. Tolbert moves away and avoids it.
Tolbert throws a nice looking combination but Brewer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Brewer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Tolbert moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Brewer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Brewer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tolbert looks for a takedown but Brewer sprawls well.
Brewer throws a head kick but Tolbert moves out of range.
Tolbert swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Brewer counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tolbert has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Brewer off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
