Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Schlock Leznar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kev Kev Randleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leznar comes to the ring accompanied by The Champ by Ghostface Killah. Randleman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. kiss kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Schlock Leznar!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kev Kev Randleman!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randleman misses with the combination.
Leznar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Leznar on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Randleman. Randleman obviously looking to wear him down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Randleman walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Leznar checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Leznar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Randleman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leznar somewhat.

Randleman tries to clinch there but Leznar circles away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A nice combination there by Randleman.
Randleman lands a jab-cross combination.
Randleman throws a solid leg kick but Leznar takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Randleman.
Leznar misses with a wild body shot.

Leznar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Randleman.
Randleman tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Randleman moves out of range of the strikes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Randleman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Leznar keeps the fight on the outside.
Leznar misses with an uppercut. Randleman saw that one coming.
Randleman ducks under a wild hook from Leznar.

Randleman leaves Leznar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Leznar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Randleman's waist but Randleman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leznar off to one side.
Randleman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Good work by Leznar as he checks the leg kick.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Some wild striking there from Randleman.
Randleman does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Randleman is looking to score with low kicks.

Kev Kev Randleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Leznar chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Randleman can pounce on him.
Randleman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Leznar catches Randleman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kev Kev Randleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Randleman tries to bum rush Leznar with a series of wild strikes but Leznar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Leznar shoots for a takedown but Randleman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Randleman buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Leznar dodges the punch combination from Randleman.

Leznar throws a shot from downtown. Randleman moves away and avoids it.
Kev Kev Randleman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Leznar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kev Kev Randleman seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Randleman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Randleman swings away with a body shot that misses
and Leznar counters with a straight right hand.
Leznar has a takedown stuffed.
Leznar scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Randleman doesn't seem bothered though.

Leznar scores with a decent looking hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Leznar is defended easily by Randleman.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Schlock Leznar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

and Leznar counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Randleman thinking.

No joy there for Randleman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Leznar dives in and grabs Randleman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Randleman pushes down on Leznar's head and hops out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Randleman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Leznar just misses with a punch to the body.
Leznar loads up on a big right hand but Randleman slips the punch.
Leznar is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Randleman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Randleman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Randleman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Schlock Leznar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Leznar moves out of range of the body kick.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Leznar checks a low kick from Randleman.
Randleman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kev Kev Randleman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Randleman throws out a leg kick but Leznar moves out of range and Randleman only half commits.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Schlock Leznar.
I think Leznar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
