Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Itamar Colaiuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Umbogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colaiuta's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Metallica-Battery . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Colaiuta feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Umbogo wants to get back to his feet but Colaiuta is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Umbogo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Colaiuta defends it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Umbogo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Colaiuta doesn't have the hooks in and Umbogo manages to turn into his guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Colaiuta changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Umbogo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Colaiuta uses his free foot to push down on Umbogo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Umbogo.

Colaiuta stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
