Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ebeneser Horowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorma Jormungar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ebeneser Horowitz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horowitz throws a series of punches but Jormungar moves out of range.

Jormungar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Horowitz pinned against the cage. Horowitz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Horowitz stalks Jormungar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jormungar's face. Jormungar staggers backwards, shaken.

Horowitz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jormungar backs up against the cage.

Jormungar shoots in for a double leg but Horowitz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Horowitz looks to land a combination but Jormungar avoids it well.
Horrible takedown by Jormungar or perhaps it was just good defense by Horowitz which made him look bad.

Jormungar moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Jormungar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Horowitz's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jormungar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jormungar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jormungar.
Jormungar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Horowitz as he jumps to the side.

Jormungar controls Horowitz momentarily but Horowitz frees himself.
Jormungar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Horowitz has left one of his arms exposed and Jormungar doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Horowitz screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jorma Jormungar!
