Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dayley has chosen The Taste Of Ink - The Used as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dayley goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dayley tries to close the distance and clinch but Irvin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Irvin tries to keep at a distance but Dayley has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dayley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Irvin .
Dayley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Irvin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dayley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Max Dayley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
