The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benton looks to score with a jab to the body but Mars is just out of range.
Benton shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Benton jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Some wild striking there from Benton.

Benton gets caught flat footed, as Mars shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Benton keeping moving, preventing Mars from controlling successfully.

Benton is working an open guard so Mars takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Benton connects with a right hand. Mars shakes it off.
A combination from Benton does no damage.
Mars loses concentration momentarily and Benton pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Mars crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Benton finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
