Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Moe M Lau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turner has chosen All I Do Is Win as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Moe M Lau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, CJ Turner!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner clinches up against the cage.
M Lau scores with a knee to the head.

Turner breaks the clinch.
Turner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Turner misses with a hook.
M Lau tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Turner counters with an outside leg kick.
M Lau darts in trying to clinch
and Turner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
M Lau looks to clinch
and Turner counters with a series of strikes. M Lau will be more careful next time no doubt.
M Lau wants to clinch
and M Lau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A slapping leg kick lands for M Lau.
M Lau throws a predictable looking body shot
and Turner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
M Lau takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Turner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Turner.
M Lau utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
M Lau wants to get back to his feet but Turner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

M Lau has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Turner off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Turner tries to keep at a distance but M Lau has taken the fight into the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
M Lau closes the distance but Turner moves to the side
enabling Turner to counter with a crisp jab.

Turner seems to have recovered his senses.

Turner misses with a looping left.
Turner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. M Lau tries to avoid it but Turner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag M Lau to the ground. M Lau escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Turner.
M Lau wants to get back to his feet but Turner drags him back down.

M Lau on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Turner throws an elbow but M Lau slips to the side and avoids it well.
Turner grinds an elbow into M Lau's temple.
M Lau taking punishment in the form of punches.
Turner scores with a couple of short elbows.
M Lau wants to get back to his feet but Turner drags him back down.
Turner in side control, throwing shots but M Lau defends.
Turner tries to score with some ground and pound. M Lau controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
M Lau tries to escape but Turner is in control.

M Lau throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Turner shoots for a double leg takedown but M Lau sprawls well. He's pushed Turner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Moe M Lau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of CJ Turner.
Turner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
M Lau wants to clinch but Turner slips to the side
and Turner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Turner connects with a good right hand that stumbles M Lau. M Lau circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Turner throws an overhand right that lands on M Lau's shoulder, as M Lau tries to avoid the shot.
M Lau clinches but Turner breaks the clinch
and Turner counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Turner.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
M Lau is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Turner wants to lay and pray for a moment but M Lau keeps working.

Turner lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear M Lau down.
Turner prevents M Lau from escaping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ground and pound from Turner seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Turner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in M Lau's guard.
Turner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
M Lau is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Turner keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of M Lau's head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Turner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

CJ Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Turner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

M Lau ducks under a wild hook from Turner.

M Lau throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Turner blocks it with crossed arms.
M Lau is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Turner tries to break free but M Lau pushes him back against the cage.
M Lau connects with a nasty looking knee right to Turner's face.
Turner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Turner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
M Lau lands a damaging elbow.

Moe M Lau is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
M Lau closes the distance but Turner moves to the side

and Turner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
M Lau is trying to stand up here but Turner is controlling him well.

Turner is working for a kimura here but M Lau manages to reverse the position and he's now in Turner's guard.

M Lau gets to his feet. Turner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, M Lau just misses with a elbow thrown towards Turner's brow.

M Lau pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
M Lau throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
M Lau wants to clinch but Turner slips to the side
and Turner counters with a stiff right hand.
Turner dives in and grabs M Lau's left leg, looking for a takedown. M Lau pushes down on Turner's head and hops out.

A jab from Turner finds it's way through M Lau's defenses.

M Lau lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

M Lau keeps control of Turner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
M Lau looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Turner can't find room to land a body shot as M Lau controls the action.
Turner is trying to drag M Lau to the mat but M Lau just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

M Lau wants to clinch but Turner slips to the side

M Lau trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

CJ Turner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
M Lau is looking to stand up but Turner isn't so interested in that idea.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Moe M Lau.
I think Turner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
