The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez swats away the attempt to clinch by Thermo.
Sanchez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sanchez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Thermo is trying to get back to half guard.
Sanchez swings around for an armbar but Thermo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sanchez's guard.
Sanchez wants to sweep here but Thermo controlling him for the moment.
Sanchez pulls Thermo in to control the position.
Thermo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Thermo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thermo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sanchez has his feet on Thermo's thighs here. He's pushed Thermo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Thermo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
