Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Malone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Malone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Blasko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Malone or perhaps it was just good defense by Blasko which made him look bad.

Blasko feints and as Malone raises his hands in defense, Blasko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blasko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blasko's corner calls for a 1-2. Blasko obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Blasko counters by clinching up.
Blasko is leaning against Malone and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Blasko lands with a light punch inside.
Blasko lands a hook that snaps the head of Malone backwards.
Blasko gets through Malone's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Malone tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

and Blasko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Blasko scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Malone stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Malone jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blasko walks away with a smile on his face. Malone gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Blasko shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Malone napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Blasko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Malone has time to react.

and Blasko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Malone won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
