Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Arona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and randy black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). randy black is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arona closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Arona swings around for an armbar but black sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Arona's guard.
black content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Arona escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. black gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
black slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
black wants to control from the top but Arona keeps moving.

Arona has his foot on black's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. black works his way back into a safe position though.

black decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Arona, up you get!

Arona closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. black did well to prevent Arona getting side control.

Arona is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so black is just riding it out for now. Arona eventually gives up the hold.

Arona has control of black's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and black regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
