The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacDonald changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but MacDonald manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

John Davis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
