The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Goeran.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Al Arhoff gets to his feet - Goeran follows without any prompting.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Goeran tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Goeran has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Al Arhoff got a little sloppy there for a moment and Goeran has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Al Arhoff has managed to get both his arms back between Goeran's legs - danger averted.
