Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Aszkickery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johan Aszkickery!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar drives through and clinches with Aszkickery against the cage.
Lesnar is pressed up against the cage. Aszkickery has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lesnar down to the mat. Lesnar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Aszkickery shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lesnar as he jumps to the side.

Lesnar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aszkickery to the mat! Aszkickery manages to get full guard.
Aszkickery wants to sweep here but Lesnar controlling him for the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johan Aszkickery.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Aszkickery avoids the elbow strike from Lesnar, against the cage.

Lesnar is pressed up against the cage. Aszkickery has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lesnar down to the mat. Lesnar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Lesnar stands and steps away. Aszkickery gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Aszkickery stuffs the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Aszkickery shoots for a double leg takedown but Lesnar sprawls well. He's pushed Aszkickery's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lesnar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lesnar throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Lesnar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aszkickery. That did some damage!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lesnar is landing with some decent strikes but Aszkickery is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lesnar is defended easily by Aszkickery.
Aszkickery on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lesnar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aszkickery is working away from the top position though.

Well Lesnar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
