The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabio fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Hoppsidaisy fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sabio checks it well.
Hoppsidaisy throws a series of punches but Sabio moves out of range.
Hoppsidaisy throws a right hand that Sabio ducks under and follows up with a left that Sabio also avoids with ease.
Sabio slips a jab and a cross from Hoppsidaisy.

Sabio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sabio is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hoppsidaisy is trying to stand up here but Sabio is controlling him well.
Sabio is pressing down on Hoppsidaisy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hoppsidaisy is holding on for now.

Hoppsidaisy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sabio on the ground.

Sabio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hoppsidaisy, who protects the arm well.

Sabio is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hoppsidaisy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
